The Ognon is a French river that originates at Château-Lambert in Haute-Saône at an altitude of 904 m. The Ognon flows into the Saône at Heuilley-sur-Saône at an altitude of 185 m.
This natural river can notably become a wild stream in the autumn with a flow rate of 10 m3/s. There are 55 locks and spillways along the course.
