PR 112 "Over time"
1/ With your back to the "Le pigeonnier" lodge, go straight down. After the washhouse, cross the two roundabouts and arrive at the D643.
2/ Cross it (caution) and take straight ahead the rue des Folies. At the fork, [> possibility of a round trip to the Virgin of Tivoli and the viewpoint 150 m on the right] turn left up a small road bordered by old dry stone walls. Stay on the paved path, pass near an antenna [> viewpoint] and at the next intersection, continue straight for 2.2 km on the old Roman road, along the cultivated fields [> blockhouse and viewpoint].
3/ At the T-junction, turn right, then after 180 m, go left. At the end of the field, continue right on a grassy path until a cross. Go right then left along the edge of the woods. At the entrance to the woods, take the right. Pass by an old transformer and carefully follow the markings to arrive at Fresnois.
4/ At the crossroads, turn right onto rue Saint-Antoine and after 500 m, just before the church, turn right onto rue de la Croix. After 300 m continue left. Ignore a path on the right and continue straight.
5/ Go left along a field then parks. After 1.2 km, head straight down the paved path. Leave the housing estate on your left and continue straight along the sports ground. Before the D643, take a left onto a grassy path that overlooks the road.
6/ At the end of the path, cross the chemin de Vaux and turn right along the D643. After 150 m, head right onto rue du commandant Ménard, towards the detention center. At the stop sign, turn right then follow the citadel signs to return to the starting point.
