Salvador Dalí was a great fan of the Park of Monsters in Bomarzo. He found the park so inspiring that he filmed a short film there and the park influenced his 1946 painting The Temptation of Saint Anthony. Dalí was drawn to the surreal and bizarre atmosphere of the park, which fits in well with his own artistic style.
