Groot-Loon es una aldea en la provincia belga de Limburgo y un distrito del municipio de Borgloon. La aldea se encuentra en la región de Haspengouw, tiene una superficie de 0,55 km² y contaba en 2006 con 145 habitantes.
Originalmente, este pueblo se llamaba: Niel-Sint-Servaas, donde se denominaba: Nyel Sancti Servatii. Gradualmente, el nombre Groot-Loon se fue adoptando, mencionado por primera vez en 1365 como Groet-loen.
