El molino de Vermeulen fue construido en 1843, en reemplazo de un molino de viento de madera. El molino está ubicado en la calle Vlamertingsestraat, en Elverdinge. El edificio es propiedad de la familia Vermeulen/Smagghe. Es un molino de grano, con un tronco muy alto.
Las aspas fueron retiradas en 1909 y el molino fue impulsado mecánicamente. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el tronco del molino fue utilizado como puesto de observación por los soldados alemanes. Ellos construyeron aún algunos niveles de ladrillos para tener una vista aún mejor de la región.
