Fue aquí en Les Fallaises, cerca de Rochehaut, donde Mathieu Lallemand cayó el 22 de junio de 2003 y luego murió a causa de sus heridas.
Es el fundador del club de senderismo Randonée Sauvage . Curiosamente, el primer viaje que organicé fue un viaje a las cataratas el 19 de septiembre de 1977.
Randonnee Sauvage quiere revivir el espíritu de Mathieu y organiza paseos, fines de semana de senderismo y un paseo de verano.
La placa se encuentra a lo largo del GR16 en Passeig de les Scales , una ruta de senderismo muy aventurera en Bélgica. La atracción se ha cerrado varias veces por ser demasiado peligrosa, pero desde que se invirtieron 75 000 € en una nueva escalera a fines de 2015, la atracción es segura para cualquiera que pueda superar el miedo.
