Durante cinco generaciones, la Fábrica Artesanal de Jarabe de Aubel ha continuado la tradición de jarabe hecho según la antigua receta de las granjas de la Tierra de Herve.
Aunque las mejoras "técnicas" han facilitado las diferentes tareas, no ha cambiado nada de las tradiciones que se han transmitido desde tiempos antiguos. El jarabe artesanal todavía se elabora en calderas de cobre sobre un fuego fuerte y sin azúcares añadidos. Está compuesto por jugo concentrado de peras y manzanas de árboles frutales de gran porte de la Tierra de Herve.
En Nyssen, el jarabe es una historia familiar, un conocimiento profesional que se transmite de generación en generación. ¡Y el relevo está garantizado de nuevo!
