La caminata por el bosque de Koedal comienza en el GC Felix Sohie y se dirige hacia el bosque de Koedal, un bosque que fue plantado en 2008 durante el fin de semana de Boompjes de Kom op tegen Kanker bajo el patrocinio de Rob Vanoudenhoven y la tutela de Veerle Baetens, junto con cientos de voluntarios. En el camino, caminarás a través del Bemdekensveld, un área natural donde antes había invernaderos de uvas. Los invernaderos fueron demolidos (aún puedes ver restos aquí y allá, como muros) y se convirtió en una hermosa área de silencio y descanso con algunos bancos de descanso y lugares de picnic. Atención: el Bemdekensveld no es accesible para coches de caballos y sillas de ruedas.
