El Museo Rieskrater, a veces conocido en inglés como el Ries Crater Museum, se centra en los meteoritos y sus colisiones con la Tierra. El museo está ubicado en un granero del siglo XVI en Nördlingen, Alemania, que formaba parte del centro de la ciudad medieval.
Esta área es el lugar del impacto de un meteorito con la Tierra hace aproximadamente 15 millones de años. Esto podría haber sido un impacto doble, ya que el cráter de Steinheim está cerca y tiene la misma edad estimada. El Cráter Ries ha sido reconocido como un cráter de impacto desde principios de la década de 1960.
