El país Lippe fue un país en el noroeste de Alemania. Siguió en la zona británica al antiguo estado libre de Lippe y existió hasta su incorporación al estado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia el 21 de enero de 1947.
Lippe fue ocupada en abril de 1945 por tropas estadounidenses y fue asignada a la zona administrativa británica durante la división de Alemania. El gobierno militar británico nombró como presidente del país a Heinrich Drake, último presidente democrático de Lippe hasta 1933. Al mismo tiempo, también estuvo al frente de Schaumburg-Lippe. Sin embargo, Lippe no disfrutó de plena soberanía debido a la ocupación británica y al derecho de ocupación vigente. Tanto el parlamento del país como el presidente del país fueron nombrados por el gobierno militar y tuvieron que aceptar la disolución del país nolens volens.
