Setcases es un municipio y pueblo en la comarca pirenaica de Ripollès en Girona, Cataluña, España, cerca de la frontera francesa. La fuente del río Ter se encuentra en las montañas justo por encima de Setcases. Hoy en día, Setcases tiene la mayor parte de su base económica en el turismo durante todo el año, incluyendo el senderismo en los meses más cálidos (por ejemplo, circuito de senderismo de Ulldeter) y el esquí durante la temporada de invierno con un telesilla en Vallter 2000. Vallter 2000 es una gran atracción para turistas de toda España. El clima es muy frío, especialmente en invierno la temperatura puede llegar a unos -20 grados Celsius. En verano, la temperatura puede subir a 20-25 grados Celsius.
