Alcira[1] es una ciudad y un municipio español de la provincia de Valencia, en la Comunidad Valenciana. La ciudad es la capital de la comarca de la Ribera Alta del Júcar, siendo al mismo tiempo el municipio que mayor número de habitantes concentra.
La ciudad contaba con 44.938 habitantes censados en 2020. Su población residencial y vinculada ascendía a un total de 55.962 personas, según el censo del INE de 2011[2].
