Entre paredes de granito.
El sendero SL FV 27 se desvía del camino principal en la etapa 5 a la altura del barranco del río Palmas y atraviesa un magnífico desfiladero de granito por el cauce del barranco hasta la presa y la ermita de Las Peñitas, un trayecto corto que discurre por un paisaje de gran belleza donde las palmeras simulan un pequeño oasis.
