DISTRITO DE LAS VILLAS DE BRAY-DUNES
A finales del siglo XIX, las playas y el baño en el mar se pusieron de moda. Bien servido por el ferrocarril, es natural que Bray-Dunes reciba a los primeros "turistas" de la "buena sociedad" de Tourcoing y Roubaix. En el corazón de un entorno excepcional, se establecen hoteles y villas (incluyendo "Suzon", "Hortensia", "Theresa" y "Marguerite") que aseguran el desarrollo costero de la ciudad. Ante este entusiasmo, se creó en 1912 una sociedad limitada llamada "la Plage de Bray-Dunes", destinada a promover el sector costero. Luego, en 1928, una sociedad limitada de bienes raíces venderá las primeras villas "llave en mano".
