Este dolmen data del Neolítico Medio. Mide 3,40 m de diámetro y 1,20 m de grosor. Presenta una tabla casi redonda con la parte inferior plana sostenida por ocho pilares, de los que falta uno.
El nombre del dolmen se inspiró probablemente en el equilibrio inestable de la losa que lo cubre.
En el siglo XIX se retiró un pilar que sostenía la mesa para excavar la cámara funeraria. Entonces se encontró una pila de piedra que contenía un hacha de sílex. El dolmen está catalogado como Monumento Histórico desde 1938.
