Frescati House era una casa y finca georgiana situada en Blackrock, Dublín. Fue construida en 1739 para la familia de John Hely Hutchinson, el Provost del Trinity College.
Durante el siglo XVIII, Blackrock fue favorecido por la clase acomodada de Irlanda y se convirtió en un elegante balneario. La nobleza de un Dublín cubierto de smog se trasladó a la zona para disfrutar del aire marino. Fue alrededor de este período que se construyeron varias villas marinas alrededor de Blackrock, incluyendo Maretimo, Carysfort, Lios an Uisce, Sans Souci y otras.
