La isla Dursey se encuentra en la punta suroeste de la península de Beara, en el oeste del condado de Cork, Irlanda. La isla Dursey mide 6.5 kilómetros de largo y 1.5 kilómetros de ancho. La isla está separada del continente por un estrecho tramo de agua, Dursey Sound, que tiene una corriente de marea muy fuerte, con la roca Flag sumergida cerca del centro del canal.
La isla tiene solo tres o más residentes permanentes y está conectada al continente por el único teleférico de Irlanda. El sistema de teleférico, que estuvo cerrado por mantenimiento durante 2022, se reabrió a mediados de 2023 tras la sustitución o rehabilitación de sus torres, rieles e infraestructura relacionada.
Dursey no tiene tiendas, bares ni restaurantes. En un momento hubo una oficina de correos en la isla; sin embargo, esta ha cerrado desde entonces.
