Oss es una ciudad en la provincia neerlandesa de Brabante del Norte, situada entre 's-Hertogenbosch y Nijmegen. Es la capital del municipio de Oss. La ciudad desempeña un papel regional como ciudad de trabajo, residencias y compras. La ciudad está rodeada de diversos paisajes y geológicamente se encuentra en el límite de tierras arenosas más altas y secas y tierras arcillosas más bajas y húmedas, con el río Mosa en las cercanías. Aunque Oss tiene una rica historia - en el pasado fue la capital del Quartier de Maasland de la Meierij de 's-Hertogenbosch - se han conservado pocos restos del pasado.
