Beetsterzwaag es una aldea en el municipio de Opsterland en el este de Frisia, en los Países Bajos. Tenía una población de alrededor de 3,485 en enero de 2017. Beetsterzwaag es conocida por sus fincas y mansiones. La aldea fue mencionada por primera vez en 1315 como Suagh, y significa "pasto con ganado perteneciente a Oud Beets". Beetsterzwaag se desarrolló en una cresta arenosa a partir de Oud Beets. En 1684, la aldea ya contenía cuatro mansiones, y en el siglo XIX fue descrita como "un kilómetro de casas nobiliarias rodeadas de parques y bosques".
