En la fachada de la hermosa Rupelmonde del siglo XVIII se pueden ver estatuas de Neptuno y Mercurio. Neptuno era el dios del mar, Mercurio el dios del comercio. ¡Tres veces adivina con qué ganaba dinero el propietario de entonces...! El torreón fue construido en 2012. Es una reconstrucción de un torreón que alguna vez estuvo allí, como se puede ver en una antigua impresión. Este sirvió también como ejemplo para recrear exactamente el mismo torreón. El reloj que estaba allí solía advertir a los habitantes y su personal cuando era hora de comer.
