La iglesia fue originalmente dedicada a Santa Ana. La iglesia tiene un campanario de tipo a dos aguas incorporado de alrededor de 1200 y una nave románico-gótica del siglo XIII. La campana fue fundida en 1616. En el siglo XVIII se construyó el coro de cinco lados, se renovó la techumbre y se dotó a la torre de una nueva fachada superior. El coro fue adaptado en estilo pseudo-románico-gótico durante la restauración de 1939-42 bajo la dirección de A. Baart sr.
