El 13 de septiembre de 1931, se consagró solemnemente la iglesia parroquial de San Juan Evangelista en Breezand, diseñada por Herman de Vries, por el deán Guilonard de Schagen. Esta iglesia todavía existe.
Desde el 30 de abril de 1993, el Museo Anna Paulowna se encuentra en Breezand. En el museo se trata el drenaje de la polders Anna Paulowna y el cultivo de bulbos de flores alrededor de Breezand. También se presta atención a la reina Anna Paulowna, la que da nombre a la polders.
