Fügen est la commune la plus peuplée de la vallée de Ziller avec 4283 habitants et fait partie du district de Schwaz en Tyrol. La commune se situe dans le district judiciaire de Zell am Ziller. Fügen est considérée comme le principal village de la vallée de Ziller avant. Le village est situé sur le large cône de débris de la rivière Rischbach. Le territoire communal se compose du village de Fügen avec 2716 habitants et des localités de Gagering au nord avec 187 habitants, Kapfing au sud avec 990 habitants et l'ancienne colonie industrielle Kleinboden sur le Finsingbach au sud-ouest avec 390 habitants.
