Si la taverne porte un tel nom, c'est tout simplement prace qu'elle fut achetée à un groupe d'artistes dont faisait partie le manager de la renommée "Ancienne Belgique" située à Gand. La cuisine proposée est typiquement belge. La spécialité du restaurant est l'anguille au vert particulièrement appréciée par les clients qui en gardent un excellent souvenir. Les grillades apparaissent au menu ainsi que des moules servies dès juillet jusque tard dans la saison. L'intérieur peut accueillir 60 places. Durant les beaux jours, près de 100 personnes peuvent investir une terrasse agréablement située.
