En 1676, Christophe De le Tenre, curé de la paroisse Saint-Martin, fit construire cette chapelle pour alléger l’obligation dominicale pour les fidèles qui vivaient loin.
Bien que l’année de construction suggère des caractéristiques de style baroque, un style gothique tardif simple était toujours utilisé. La chapelle, magnifiquement située sur le flanc sud du Muziekberg, se compose d’une salle rectangulaire avec un petit chœur à l’arrière contre lequel s’appuie une sacristie. Il est construit en brique, sur un socle en partie en grès, a de courtes fenêtres en arc brisé dans les murs latéraux et un portail en arc de panier fortement restauré dans la façade ouest. Un petit cavalier orne l’extrémité du toit à pignon recouvert d’ardoise du hêtre.
