La Villa Baare est une villa d'entrepreneur située au 13 Reiterweg dans le quartier de Höntrop à Wattenscheid, à Bochum. La rue Höntroper, adjacente, s'appelait donc jusqu'à l'intégration dans ce tronçon de rue « Baarestraße ». La villa a été construite en 1888 par le Verein für Gußstahlfabrikation de Bochum pour son directeur général Louis Baare, à proximité de la mine Vereinigte Maria Anna Steinbank. Baare l'a agrandie avec un bâtiment de services, son fils Fritz Baare a ajouté une tour et des annexes en 1904. La veuve de Fritz Baare y a vécu jusqu'en 1945, ensuite elle a servi de casino pour officiers britanniques, puis la maison est devenue une maison de cure pour enfants. En 1974, l'entreprise a vendu la villa à la ville de Wattenscheid. Aujourd'hui, une association y gère un jardin d'enfants Waldorf.
