L'école secondaire Richard-Schirrmann était une ancienne école secondaire à Altena, qui a été dissoute à la fin de l'année scolaire 2016/2017.
L'établissement était nommé d'après Richard Schirrmann, une personnalité marquante pour la ville et son histoire, qui a fondé en 1907 la première auberge de jeunesse provisoire, laquelle a déménagé au château d'Altena en 1912. Cette auberge se trouvait dans l'ancien bâtiment de l'école, alors encore appelée Netterschule. L'ancien bâtiment a été démoli dans les années 1960. Par la suite, l'école a été entièrement reconstruite dans sa forme actuelle. En 1998, l'école secondaire a emménagé dans le bâtiment utilisé en dernier.
