La maison de la loge maçonnique « Aux cinq tours de la source salée » se trouve au 6, rue Cardinal-Albrecht à Halle.
La loge a été fondée en 1884 en tant qu'association maçonnique et a reçu en 1885 de la Grande Loge de Prusse, appelée Royal York pour l'amitié, son brevet de constitution en tant que loge. Parmi ses membres les plus connus figuraient le biologiste Otto Schmeil, le sculpteur Paul Reiling, le chocolatier Bernhard Most, le marchand de pianos Balthasar Döll, le maître d'œuvre et industriel Friedrich Kuhnt ainsi que l'architecte Ernst Heinrich Giese.
