La gare principale de Berchtesgaden est la gare terminale de la ligne de chemin de fer Freilassing–Berchtesgaden dans la commune bavaroise de Berchtesgaden. Berchtesgaden est ainsi la plus petite commune d'Allemagne dotée d'une gare principale. La gare est le nœud de transport central du massif du Berchtesgadener, avec des connexions de bus vers toutes les communes environnantes. Elle appartient à la catégorie de gare 5 de DB Station&Service. Le bâtiment est aujourd'hui en possession privée.
Jusqu'en 1938, une ligne continuait au-delà de Marktschellenberg jusqu'à la gare locale de Salzbourg. Sur cette ligne commune circulaient la verte électrique bavaroise et la rouge électrique de Salzbourg. À distance de marche de la gare principale se trouvait, jusqu'en 1965, la gare de Königssee, point de départ du train vers Königssee.
