L'église Saint-Marie à Großenkneten est l'église paroissiale de la communauté ecclésiastique évangélique-luthérienne de Großenkneten, qui fait partie du district ecclésiastique de Delmenhorst/Oldenburg-Land de l'Église évangélique-luthérienne d'Oldenburg.
À Großenkneten, une église a probablement été fondée dès le 9e siècle. Des fouilles ont révélé des constructions précédentes datant d'avant 1000 et vers 1300. Les sources écrites indiquent qu'un bâtiment d'église roman existait, qui a été agrandi au 15e siècle.
