Le Freudenburg est la ruine d’un château à éperon sur un éperon ouest de l’Eiderberg à la fin de la Burgstraße et de la Balduinstraße dans la commune de Freudenburg dans le district de Trèves-Saarburg en Rhénanie-Palatinat, en Allemagne.
Le complexe du château se dresse au sommet d’une langue rocheuse en forme d’arc à 440 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, qui est séparée du village par des douves créées artificiellement. C’est le seul accès au château. Le complexe, qui forme un triangle isocèle, donne une image imposante avec les murs extérieurs se dressant sur trois étages au-dessus du bord rocheux.
