Le Garather Mühlenbach est un ruisseau d'environ 10 kilomètres de long. Il touche les villes de Solingen, Hilden et Düsseldorf en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie.
Le Garather Mühlenbach prend sa source dans deux sources dans une zone boisée entre Bauermannsheide, le parc zoologique et ornithologique de Solingen, ainsi que l'ancien stade de Hermann-Löns-Weg à l'ouest du quartier d'Ohligs à Solingen. Dans sa partie supérieure, il est également appelé Kalversterzer Bach sur le territoire de Solingen et coule là 20 mètres sous une ligne à haute tension dans un tuyau. À l'ouest de Brabant, le ruisseau forme la limite naturelle entre Solingen et Hilden.
