La Zarow est une rivière de plaine dans l'est du Mecklembourg-Poméranie-Occidentale. La zone irrigée par de nombreux fossés de la Grande Prairie de Friedländer est en grande partie drainée par la Zarow. À cette fin, la Zarow a été creusée entre Meiersberg et Grambin. Au confluent de deux fossés principaux près de Ferdinandshof, la rivière commence son parcours d'environ 16 km vers le nord à travers la lande d'Ueckermünde.
