Le monastère de St. Georgenberg est une ancienne abbaye cistercienne sous le patronage de Saint Maurice dans la ville nord-hessoise de Frankenberg, dans le district de Waldeck-Frankenberg. Le complexe de bâtiments à trois ailes est aujourd'hui le siège d'un bureau administratif extérieur du district.
En 1242, Konrad von Itter a fondé le couvent de nonnes de Butzebach, dans un coin reculé de la forêt dans la vallée de la Nuhne, le soi-disant « Butzebach », à environ 6 kilomètres au nord de Frankenberg entre les actuelles localités de Schreufa et Sachsenberg).
