Il est inscrit sur le registre des monuments de Quedlinburg en tant que maison d'habitation et se situe à l'ouest de la vieille ville historique de Quedlinburg, du côté ouest de la Wallstraße, à un emplacement d'angle, au nord de l'embranchement de la rue Marschlinger Hof.
La maison, qui rappelle une villa, a été construite en 1903 par Robert Riefenstahl. Le plan de la maison est en gradins. Du côté du Marschlinger Hof, la façade présente une représentation art nouveau d'un arbre réalisée avec des surfaces en plâtre. Le bâtiment dispose de lucarnes et de pignons à colombages. Les portes et fenêtres de la maison datent encore de l'époque de sa construction.
