L'église taillée dans la roche est une histoire de réussite de l'architecture moderne d'Helsinki. C'est l'un des sites les plus importants et les plus visités de Helsinki. Un socle en granit et un plafond en cuivre sont reliés par des panneaux de verre. Il n'y a pas de décoration, d'autel ni de clocher. Elle est ouverte au culte mais accueille également souvent des concerts. Elle a 500 000 visiteurs par an. Ouverte le lundi de 10h00 à 17h00 et le dimanche de 11h45 à 13h45.
