Beauvais est une ville du nord de la France située à environ 100 kilomètres au nord de Paris. La ville doit principalement sa renommée à l'imposante cathédrale Saint-Pierre, édifice gothique du XIIIe siècle, qui n'a jamais été complètement achevée en raison de la surface sablonneuse instable, ce qui crée une image unique. En outre, il y a bien sûr de nombreux autres sites à voir le long de la promenade, dont le Musée départemental de l'Oise, la Place Jeanne Hachette et les Remparts gallo-romain ne sont que quelques-uns qui seront passés en revue.
