Chambéry est une ville du sud de la France située à environ 90 kilomètres au sud de Genève. La ville a un centre médiéval qui, grâce à la présence continue des hauts sommets alpins de la région, acquiert un caractère unique. Cette promenade tente de transmettre au mieux ce caractère en combinant les nombreux sites touristiques de Chambéry de la manière la plus compacte possible sans créer le sentiment que quelque chose est négligé. Ces curiosités sont la cathédrale Saint-François-de-Sales de Chambéry, la place Saint Léger, le parc du Verney, ... et une multitude d'autres joyaux.
