Le tunnel de Roer est un tunnel terrestre situé sur la route nationale 73. Le tunnel a été ouvert à la circulation le 18 février 2008. Avec ses 2450 mètres, c'était, depuis son ouverture en 2008, le plus long tunnel terrestre pour la circulation automobile aux Pays-Bas, jusqu'à ce que le tunnel de Gaasperdam, ouvert en juillet 2020, devienne le plus long tunnel terrestre pour la circulation automobile des Pays-Bas avec une longueur de 3 kilomètres. Le tunnel de Roer est composé de deux tubes de tunnel, séparés par un couloir d'évacuation. Dans le tunnel, la vitesse maximale est de 100 km/h. Les tubes de tunnel sont équipés d'un système d'extinction à distance.
