Nel 1895 la Congregazione di San Giuseppe di Clermont-Ferrand acquistò molti edifici per la cura di donne affette da malattie mentali. Inoltre, vi fu istituita una scuola elementare per ragazze. A partire dal 1896, gli edifici furono ampliati per accogliere persone con disturbi mentali. Oggi, il Centro Medico San Giuseppe offre terapia a persone con problemi affinché possano imparare a (ri)integrare nella società.
