Il Noordbrug è un bell'esempio di ciò che nel mondo dell'architettura viene chiamato un 'ponte a sospensione'. Collega il centro con il museo Texture, il quartiere cittadino di Overleie e i comuni più distanti di Heule e Bissegem. Dal lato del centro si trova una vera 'cesta per il basket' e Kortrijk Weide.
Il ponte risale al 2010 come parte dei lavori del Leie, ma è una sostituzione di varianti più vecchie su cui in passato circolava anche una linea di tram elettrico. Il tram è stato sostituito da un autobus che percorre regolarmente l'asse nord-sud di Kortrijk.
