Il Bos t’ Ename si trova sulle colline delle Ardenne fiamminghe e ha una storia ricca che risale a secoli, addirittura millenni fa. 12.000 anni, hanno scritto gli autori di un libro spesso che è stato pubblicato l'anno scorso sul bosco.
Ospita più di 15.000 specie di piante, funghi e animali. È stata una delle prime aree in cui si è iniziato a gestire la natura con gli erbivori. Oggi è ancora possibile incontrare cavalli e bovini.
Si vanta della sua splendida fioritura primaverile, ma mostra anche grande fascino in autunno e inverno. Le vedute panoramiche sono uno dei suoi punti di forza. Aspettatevi un po' di arrampicata, può essere anche fangoso. Una parte dell'area è riserva naturale ed è accessibile solo con guida. La maggior parte del bosco, tuttavia, è liberamente accessibile.
