La Heideroute è un vero classico! Il scenario del primissimo percorso a tema segnalato (1975) è molto popolare. Nel ruolo principale troviamo la Brugherotonda di Kalmthout con le sue dune dorate, i tranquilli stagni e le profumate foreste di pini. Ma anche dalla Torre di Avvistamento de Klot nell'area naturale De Maatjes si può godere di un panorama straordinario. Inoltre, lungo il percorso incontrerai numerosi posti dove mangiare e bere, oltre a diversi musei (Museo dell'apicoltura, Museo dei carri e Robotland).
