Il Lötschberg è un valico alpino in Svizzera tra la valle di Kander in cantone di Berna e la valle di Lötschental in cantone del Vallese. Non esiste una cima chiamata Lötschberg. In origine, il passo Lötschenpas era equiparato al Lötschberg. Il passo conduce dalla valle di Gasterntal nell'Oberland bernese a Ferden nel Vallese ed è percorribile solo a piedi.
Oggi, con "Lötschberg" ci si riferisce sia al tunnel Lötschberg del 1913, un tunnel ferroviario lungo 14,6 km da Kandersteg a Goppenstein, sia al tunnel base Lötschberg del 2007, un tunnel ferroviario lungo 34,6 km da Frutigen a Raron. Il nuovo tunnel base Lötschberg, parte del progetto NEAT, abbassa l'altitudine massima della linea ferroviaria da 1240 m a 825 m. La linea ferroviaria Lötschberg e la sua continuazione attraverso il Sempione è, dopo il Gotthard, il secondo passaggio alpino più importante della Svizzera.
