La collisione aerea di Überlingen si verificò il 1º luglio 2002 alle 21:35, nei pressi dell'omonima città tedesca. Ne furono protagonisti il volo Bashkirian Airlines 2937 ed il volo cargo DHL 611.
Nell'incidente morirono 71 persone. Gli investigatori del Bundesstelle für Flugunfalluntersuchung determinarono nella loro relazione del 19 maggio 2004 che le cause dell'incidente erano imputabili al controllo del traffico aereo. Il 24 febbraio 2004 il controllore Peter Nielsen fu pugnalato a morte da Vitaly Kaloyev, un architetto russo che perse la moglie ed entrambi i suoi figli nell'incidente.
