La stazione di Dannenberg Est è una delle due stazioni di Dannenberg ed è classificata nella categoria 7. Ha due binari, ma nel traffico programmato viene utilizzato solo un binario.
Dopo la chiusura delle linee tra Dannenberg, Lüchow, Uelzen e Wittenberge, la stazione è stata demolita. Oggi ci sono ancora entrambi i binari, ma solo il binario principale è servito. Il binario accanto conduce alla stazione di carico. L'edificio è stato ristrutturato nel 2012 in collaborazione con la città di Dannenberg e le istituzioni diaconali del Wendland. Il JuniorBahnhof, un'iniziativa del circondario ecclesiastico di Lüchow-Dannenberg, vende biglietti e gestisce un chiosco. La stazione è presidiata da un capostazione.
