Bücknitz è stata un ex comune nel distretto di Potsdam-Mittelmark, nel Brandeburgo, ed è diventata una delle tre frazioni della città di Ziesar dopo la riforma territoriale del 2002.
Bücknitz si trova a circa 30 chilometri a sud-ovest della città di Brandeburgo sull'Havel, al limite della Brughiera di Fiener, o della foresta di Bücknitzer, sviluppatasi su un cono di deiezione glaciale. Il territorio è attraversato dal piccolo fiume Buckau e dal Strynzelbach. Il comune di Bücknitz è circondato da terreni verdi e agricoli, oltre che da vaste aree boschive.
