Santomera è un comune spagnolo nella comunità autonoma di Murcia. Ha una popolazione di 16.105 abitanti e un'area di 44,2 km². Confina a nord con Fortuna, a ovest e a sud con Murcia e a est con la provincia di Alicante.
Santomera è stata abitata da esseri umani fin dall'età della pietra e i luoghi di lavoro in pietra sono la prova di questo fatto. C'è stata anche presenza umana durante il Calcolitico e l'età del bronzo insieme a persone della cultura argaica. Un altro popolo che si stabilì nell'attuale comune sono gli iberici, che costruirono una città lì.
