Distribuiti nel parco Parc de la Villette ci sono 26 follies rosse, ovvero edifici inutili ma bizzarri. Il Parc de la Villette è, dopo Père Lachaise, la più grande area verde di Parigi. Il parco comprende 35 ettari di verde, tra cui undici giardini tematici. In passato qui sorgevano i macelli di La Villette, che furono chiusi nel 1974.
