Abbazia benedettina fondata nel 778, l'Abbazia di Santa Maria può vantare di essere la più antica abbazia carolingia della Catalogna. La chiesa romanica a tre navate ospita un grande organo Schmidt del XVIII secolo. Il chiostro gotico del XIII secolo è adiacente alla chiesa. Sulla piazza della chiesa, una tomba sacra, un sarcofago del IV secolo, produce inspiegabilmente acqua limpida dal terreno
